When considering the installation of a solar photovoltaic or solar water heating system, the first step is to come up with a solar site design.

The solar site design is comprised of structural and electrical drawings that are used for the installation of a solar energy system. These drawings are a complete guide to what type of equipment is right for your particular system, and also how it will be installed on your property.  Our technicians use a device called the Solar Pathfinder (the standard in the solar industry) for solar site shade analysis.

Every location is unique: building codes, roof area, amount of direct light from the sun, shading, roof pitch or pole mounted areas, etc.. During the Solar Site Design, HarneTech technicians first visit your location free of charge to assess your location (qualified customers only).
