HarneTech Adds CFO

October 20, 2008, Arlington Heights, IL  HarneTech LLC is adding to its management team, as it positions itself to help businesses and other organizations use existing technology to both enhance and protect the environment and realize cost savings for their organizations, with the appointment of Michael (Mike) Putz as the company's Chief Financial Officer (CFO).

"Our goal is to help businesses evaluate and implement green technology, and assist in a transformation from a fossil fuel based economy to one that harnesses renewable energy. Mike's background will not only ensure the financial success of our company, but our clients can draw on his experience in financing businesses."

Putz comes to HarneTech from Bank of America, formerly LaSalle Bank, where he was a Vice President and Banking Center Manager. His prior experience includes working for Charter One Bank and St. Paul Federal. His accomplishments in the field of banking include: helping LaSalle Bank earn recognition from the Mt. Prospect Chamber of Commerce as the Large Business of the Year in 2004; receiving the Chairman's Award from Charter One Bank; and being named Operations Officer of the Year for St Paul Federal. He graduated from NIU in 1987 with a B.S. in Finance, and earned an MBA from Loyola University, being named an Outstanding Graduate in May 2000.

He has been very active in the local community, and is currently Vice-President of the Mount Prospect Chamber of Commerce.  Putz was recently President of the Mt. Prospect Sunrise Rotary Club, a year in which it became the leading Club in a project to install a digitized x-ray machine in Guatemala.  He is a past president of the Chicagoland Business Network.
